Michaelis Maschinenbau is a family business at two locations near Bremen in the noth-west of Germany. The company was foundet in 1966 by Carl-Heinz Michaelis in Grasberg.
The first product developed by himself was the mowing bucket, an attachment for hydraulic excavators, featuring a patented knife principle. The product range was expanded continnuous:
- Further attachments for construction machines such as road-sweepers and mixing buckets
- Work platforms approved by the german accredition body TÜV in accordance with EN 280
- System components for construction machines
- Interchangable bodies for utility vehicles
- Environment-friendly weed control machines
- Landscape preservation machines
- Special engineering
Own design department is in existence, manufacturing and service through own staff. Now Anja Ohlrogge, daughter of the company founder, is director of the down-to-earth and tradition-conscious company. Since 2007 Michaelis Maschinenbau GmbH is certified in accordance with DIN EN 9001:2000. The machine builder can offer a wide range of high quality machines proved in operation in many parts of the world.
